Bounce Bounce

The interpolation mode relates to easing by making our ball look more real and less robotic as it bounces up and down. There you can see clearly is air time and the time it reacts to bounce back up.

The interpolation mode is a mode where you can choose how your object moves like, Linear is like a robot and bezier makes it so you can move and the speed of it. It helps if you want your object to have a quick start and slow finish and vice versa.... you can make the speed of the entrance and exit however fast you want.

HIstory of anime and manga

Manga is a Japanese comic book or graphic novel and it can be found way back to the 12th century. Unlike Western comics which is read from left to right, the manga is read from right to left. During the Edo period of Japan, Toba Ehon made the concept of manga, and then in 1789, the word manga was used as a common word. The first picture book was made by an author Santo Kyoden called Shiji no Yukikai,

After WW2 a lot of books and novels were prohibited from making war-like concepts, but for some reason, manga really wasn't affected by this. Soon this reason was the reason why people started to really get into their own works made artistic creative skyrocket,. One of the results from this era is a manga by Osamu Tezuka called 鉄腕アトム (Hepburn: Tetsuwan Atomu) also known as Astro Boy here in the U.S. I've read this manga myself and watched the anime from it and I love it dearly.  https://soranews24.com/2014/11/14/animes-tetsuwan-atomastro-boy-shows-up-on-a-pedestrian-walk-signal-in-japan/

Now anime was made in the 20th century and anime is derived from manga, novels, or video games! The word anime is just the word for animation in Japanese so anime basically means Japanese animation. Animation started in Japan in the 20th century influenced by Western animation like movies from Disney. The earliest claim for Japanese animation was “Katsudō Shashin” which means motion picture. It was a 3-second film slip of a boy removing his red hat. Anime back in the 1900s were mostly little short videos telling Japanese folktales or little stories the animators came up with, not what we know today as the big eyes and multi-colored hair characters we know today. Another one of the oldest anime is Namakura Gatana”, this is still very short but it showed the technique and styles of the animators. Just as things were looking up there was a massive earthquake in 1923 that destroyed a lot of animation studios and setback development. Then Japan felt as if they needed to catch up since around the early 1900s Disney was booming which then led to people in Japan using Cel animation which made the quality of the animations go up. These videos were made mostly for propaganda but then in 1948 a studio called Japanese animation was made but they didn’t stay like that for long they were bought by Toei which then they were known as Toei animation which is still here today. They made a fully colored animation called the White Serpent! Soon Japan was getting recognition and anime was starting to air in Japan and somewhere even brought overseas! There are a few theories of what the Lion King was about and there is an anime made in 1965 called Kimba the White Lion which has very similar aspects to the Lion King it was made a full 29 years before Lion King came out. In the 1960s there were a few animes that came out which would be known as the inspiration for what words that were used today to talk about anime such as Mecha which is what we would know as transformers or robot-like animes and magical girl animes which would be in close relation with Power Rangers but it’s only girls fighting evil. These shows are Sally the Witch (1966) which is considered the first Shojo

(a name for a genre targeted for young women) and Astro Boy. Fastwarding to the 1980s a very will known studio today was made called Studio Ghibli bringing us the great works of My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away. But these were not the first ones of it’s kind. Studio Ghibli’s first animated film was Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind it was a huge success in Japan. My personal favorite from Studio Ghibli is

Howl’s Moving Castle I think the animation and storytelling are magnificent and I love the use of colors in this movie. In the 1990s anime industry tries to make a lot of their money back since there were many flops in the 1980s. They went into a massive decline and movies and shows like Ghost in a Shell and Evangelion really saved the industry. A year after those two the famous show Sailor Moon came out in 1996 which was loved by many around the world. The infamous show Pokemon also came out a year after Sailor Moon in 1997. Moving to the 2000s lots of shows such as One Piece, Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, and Bleach became super influential to this generation since there is now the internet for many people to talk about. These shows are called Shonen (targeted towards young boys)

My favorite show of this time is Inuyasha about a girl who traveled back to 100 years ago and has to travel around to find pieces of a pearl with a hybrid dog man.

It was super successful but since it’s passed it’s time and it ended it stopped being talked about. As a person who’s been watching anime since they were born anime has become a lot more popular and mainstream as of quarantine since Netflix and other streaming services lately have been putting shows on their Library. The industry has changed a lot from the art styles to their targeted audience. My personal favorite animation studio is Kyoto animation since they focus on their backgrounds and nature aspect and I love a lot of shows from that studio.
I recommend this show called Violet Evergarden (it's on Netflix)since it's a really good show that will definitely make you cry and the art is just so beautiful and every color on the screen just fits in place. Even if you don't watch it comment on the trailer for it :D
